1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Go Winston ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Go Winston is an AI content detection application that provides tools to analyze text and images for potential AI-generated content, and to perform fact-checking analysis. The App uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to generate its assessments.
3. Accuracy & Limitations
No Guarantee of Accuracy: The detection results provided by Go Winston are probabilistic assessments and should be treated as informational guidance only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis results.
Not Definitive Proof: Results from Go Winston should not be used as sole evidence or definitive proof that content is or is not AI-generated. AI detection technology has inherent limitations and may produce false positives or false negatives.
Professional Judgment: Users should exercise their own judgment and, where appropriate, seek professional advice before making decisions based on the App's results.
4. User Responsibilities
By using the App, you agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Not submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Not use the App to harass, defame, or harm other individuals
- Not use automated systems or bots to access the App
- Not circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security features
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and content, is the intellectual property of Go Winston and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Free Tier: Go Winston offers a free tier with limited functionality.
Pro Subscription: Go Winston Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not directly process refunds.
7. Content You Submit
You retain all rights to the text and images you submit for analysis. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing detection results. We do not claim ownership of any content you submit.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Go Winston and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Decisions made based on detection results
- Inaccurate or misleading analysis results
- Loss of data or unauthorized access to your data
- Service interruptions or unavailability
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for any user who violates these Terms, engages in abusive behavior, or uses the App in a manner that may harm our services or other users.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
